A piece of the live broadcast TV programm during the official release of Principado of Asturias's Prize in 2009. The fragment corresponds to the exit of the authorities and rewarded from Hotel de la Reconquista in Oviedo.
Although the picture is a bit old, it pays to enjoy the band with a very unusual attire. Usually the band plays their songs dressed in traditional costume of Asturias. On a few occasions, in very informal situations, they can be viewed by using the festival T-shirt.
However, only for exceptional reasons, we use grand gala evening dress.

Queremos abrir una nueva sección dedicada a vídeos de actuaciones históricas de la Banda Gaites Candás. Queremos animar a todos los que tengan videos guardados a hacérnoslos llegar para incluirlos y que los podamos disfrutar todos.
En el primer video podemos ver las actuaciones individuales de Sergio interpretando a la gaita el floreu de Remís y a Xuan interpretando un sólo de caja. Sus actuaciones tuvieron lugar hace muchos, muchos años durante un concierto que realizó la Banda en Murcia.

Nuestro infatigable reportero "el pofecito digital" nos ha vuelto a sorprender con su cámara y nos ofrece este emotivo video de una actuación de la Banda Gaites Candás durante el viaje a Palestina que se realizó en las navidades del año 2009. En él se recoge el homenaje que el 22 de diciembre rinde la plataforma de mujeres artistas en contra de la violencia de género en Ramallah. Durante este homenaje la Banda interpreta Anton el Neñu.

El 'pofecito digital' ha logrado un nuevo hito en la historia de la presencia de la banda gaites candas en internet. Nada menos que 20.000 visitas a nuestro blog blog.bandagaitescandas.com y sin hacer trampas en el contador.
Hay visitas desde numerosos países de Iberoamérica, Italia, Francia, UK y, por supuesto de España. Además hay algún visitante de otros países más exóticos. La visita recibida desde la India ¿será del primo de Pofe cuando fue de viaje allí?.
El pofecito digital ha agradecido a todos sus 20.000 visitantes el apoyo recibido. Pero desde aquí, queremos darle las gracias a él por su gran labor de difusión de las noticias de la Banda.
